Victoria George was born and raised in Fairfax, Ca; one of the very few places where the vestiges of the 60's and 70's are still alive and well today. It is only fitting that from this free spirited environment she would turn to artistic expression, performing in plays, talent shows and musicals, as early as grade school. Despite this early passion for performing music, it was only in her first year at the University of Virginia among the pressures of finding direction that she began to think of music as a career choice. "It was almost like I got bit by something," says George. "My head became inundated with melodies and lyrics and I began to write them down and take them seriously."

From that point on Victoria has consistently illustrated to her family, friends and audiences how serious she is about her music. Accompanied by her acoustic guitar, Victoria has showcased a captivating repertoire of original music. Combining a naturally beautiful voice with an equally beautiful and clever songwriting ability she has convinced all those who see her that she is the real thing. Inspired by the likes of Sheryl Crow, Joni Mitchell and Lucinda Williams.

Victoria's mix of Americana rock with nuances of folk and pop makes her music satisfying to anyone who enjoys good music. With her first EP Far As I'm Concerned (produced by Joey Muller) just released, Victoria is beginning to make a powerful impression on musical circuits — an impression that has the potential to go all the way to the top!
