Womenfolk is proud to announce the release of its first compilation, Womenfolk: Volume One!
The idea for this collection was born in March 2006 to further promote the music featured on Womenfolk, as well as to celebrate the site’s 2nd anniversary. Five months later, the CD was born and the result is a unique collection featuring thirteen songs by some of our favorite artists of the last two years with the album designed by Womenfolk’s creator, Robbie McCown.
From classic folk to pop-infused rock, Womenfolk: Volume One further proves the undeniable talent these women have to offer.
All the tracks below have been licensed and approved for this compilation and I’m ecstatic to offer it to my readers exclusively through Womenfolk.
