Also with a new record is Womenfolk artist Victoria George, who was celebrating the official release of her self-titled, debut album at the Independent, a great venue in the Alamo Square district of San Francisco.

The turnout was large and it was apparent that George has a loyal and ever-growing following, which will no doubt increase with the new album’s release.

George took to the stage at 10:00pm and performed a large batch of songs featured on her new album in addition to a couple that can be found on her 2004 EP, Far As I’m Concerned. Womenfolk was there to support her and it was a treat to finally see her perform live.

Also playing on the bill was the talented Brad Wolfe & The Moon and the very impressive Elliot Randall, who has an album of his own in the works. Definitely worth checking both of these artists out.

Congrats on the CD, Atwork, tracklisting, etc. look very professional. I’ve been a fan of your blog for months now. However, I find $20 a litlle too steep for a indie release comp. CD With that said, I hope it becomes a sucess. Keep up the great work on your blog!
    Cheers,
    Kevin

I think it is Fabulous! And the artwork is beautiful too! More than worth the cost to own this fabulous CD. How can we get autographed copies? I am sure they will be worth quite a bit too. Keep up the good work!
